Human Rights Policy/Human Resource

KING SHING support and follow Universal Declaration of Human Rights(UDHR), Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR), protect the employees and stakeholder of Human Rights, based on the guiding principles of the aforementioned norms and Labor related laws to formulated a corporate governance human rights policy for prevent any infringement and violation of human rights. This policy and related Implementation policy:

  1. Providing safe and healthy workplace, preventing occupational injury. Arranges regular employee health examinations.
  2. Guarantees equal labor rights for individuals of different nationality, race, class, language, belief, religion, political party, place of ancestry, place of birth, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, appearance, facial features, and physical and mental disabilities. The Company strictly prohibits any form of discrimination and strives to create a diverse and inclusive workplace by offering equal recruitment and promotion opportunities to all.
  3. Forbids any form of child labor, human trafficking, or forced labor. 
  4. Offer unrestricted freedom of association and respect for employees' right to peaceful assembly and to collective bargaining.
  5. Establishes robust grievance and communication channels and commits to protecting complainants. Potential human rights violations can be reported anonymously or through multiple communication mechanisms to provide concerns or suspected violations, and the Company will initiate corresponding measures.
  6. Regularly identifying and assessing risks, implementing prevention and mitigation measures, and tracking mechanisms.

 

Human Rights Due Diligence(HRDD) and Risk Management

Physical and mental health and work balance

In order to prevent workplace violence, we have completed the formulation of the " Prevention Encounter of Workplace Violence in the Act of Performing Duties ", " Protecting and Managing Maternal Health ", " Prevention of Overwork related illness" and " Preventing and Managing Ergonomic hazards " and other Occupational safety and health Act. An announcement of " Prohibit Workplace Violence Written Statement " is posted on the employee platform for public notice.

Workplace Health Promotion

Making efforts to develop and implement workplace health promotion (WHP) programs in pursuit of the better health and wellbeing of workers:

1.Arranges Regular Employee Health Examinations.
2.Private Physician Consultation Service for Employees.

Equal Recruitment

Guarantees equal labor rights for individuals of different nationality, race, class, language, belief, religion, political party, place of ancestry, place of birth, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, appearance, facial features, and physical and mental disabilities. Prohibit Compulsory and Forced Labor  

We do not accept nor condone any aspect of forced or compulsory labor. We strictly prohibit our employees, suppliers and other business partners from engaging in human trafficking-related activities.

Forbids any form of Child Labor.

The Rights of Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining

Retirement System

The company formulates employee retirement measures in accordance with the provisions of the Labor Standards Act and sets aside retirement reserves in full.

Starting from July 1, 1994, according to the implementation of the new labor retirement system, our company will consult our employees' willingness to adopt the new system or the old system. For those who adopt the new labor retirement system, 6% of the total salary is allocated to employees' personal pension accounts on a monthly basis to protect their post-retirement life.
